Best Overall: Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro

It is a large air fryer that has 13 preset functions that let you air fry, bake, roast, broil, slow cook, and more. It has a spacious interior that can accommodate a whole turkey, a 13-inch pizza, or nine slices of bread. It also has a digital display that shows you the rack levels, the temperature, while the buttons and dials allow you to select the right settings easily.. This air fryer  also features a preheat cycle that ensures consistent and accurate cooking results. Plus, it has a spring-loaded door that opens and closes smoothly, and a range of accessories that enhance your cooking experience, such as a pizza tray, a roasting pan, an air fry basket, and a crumb tray. You can also buy additional accessories like a cutting board, a pizza stone, and a pizza crisper pan. This is available in different colours and finishes, so you can choose the one that suits your kitchen style.

We have personally tested this machine and It enhances the flavor and crispiness of the food while saving our time and energy. In terms of cooking, it outperforms regular ovens by providing faster results. Compared to other leading air fryers, it offers more space and functions, making it like having multiple machines in one. You can prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks with ease. Additionally, you can bake cakes, cookies, bread, and even dry fruits and herbs. It’s a versatile appliance that can cook  (almost!) anything you desire.

During the testing process in our lab, we noticed some downsides of this Air fryer. First,The oven light would sometimes blink & sometimes dim slowly, which makes it hard to see the food inside. Other times, the oven light wouldn’t turn on, which leaves us Unaware of the cooking progress. Second, it may be a bit pricey. Also, it takes up a lot of space on your counter. It can burn you if you touch it while it’s hot. The accessories need to be hand-washed as they are not dishwasher safe. Still, the benefits it brings are much more significant than these minor drawbacks.

Best Smart Air Fryer: Cosori VeSync Pro II Smart Air Fryer

The Cosori VeSync Pro II Smart Air Fryer has a sleek and elegant design, with a matte black finish and a touch panel that displays the time, temperature, and cooking presets. The touch panel is responsive and easy to use, allowing you to adjust the time, temperature, and presets with a simple touch, & also showing you the cooking progress and remaining time on a transparent display.

It has 12 cooking presets, So you can cook anything easily using this 12-in-1 Air fryer. The presets are steak, seafood, shrimp, chicken, bacon, french fries, frozen food, vegetables, bake, toast, keep warm, and preheat. You can also customize the time and temperature settings according to your preferences. The preheat function is a unique feature that improves the texture and flavour of the food, while the shake reminder tells you when to toss the food for fast cooking. The air fryer uses rapid 360° air circulation to cook the food with up to 85% less oil than traditional frying methods, which results in the crispiness of the food.

One of the best things about this air fryer is the easy cleaning. The baskets are nonstick and dishwasher-safe, so you don’t have to worry about scrubbing or soaking. The baskets also have a sliding tab that prevents accidental detachment, which is a nice safety feature. The air fryer has a matte black finish that resists fingerprints and smudges, so it always looks clean and elegant on your countertop.

The air fryer has a large and wide basket that can fit a lot of food at once. The basket is nonstick and easy to clean, either by hand or in the dishwasher. The air fryer also has a shake reminder function that prompts us to shake the basket halfway through the cooking process, to ensure fast browning and crispiness. The air fryer uses rapid 360° air circulation to cook the food with hot air, resulting in crispy and tender food with up to 85% less oil than deep-frying.

We tried many recipes in this air fryer, from frozen fries and chicken nuggets, to fresh salmon and broccoli, to homemade brownies and banana bread. Specially, One of our favorites was the spicy chicken wings, which came out juicy and tender, with a nice kick of flavor. The food was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, with no greasy aftertaste. The air fryer also cooked the food evenly, without burning or drying out the edges. However, we noticed that some foods, like breaded fish and onion rings, tended to stick to the basket and required some extra oil to prevent that. We also had to shake the basket occasionally to ensure even cooking. We especially liked the preheat function, which warmed up the air fryer in just a few minutes and improved the texture of the food.

When it comes to our favourite feature (which is also most of our team members’ favourite), we have to mention the smart connectivity of the Cosori VeSync Pro II Smart Air Fryer. This air fryer can be controlled using the VeSync app on your smartphone, or by voice commands via Alexa or Google Assistant. It means you can start, stop, monitor, and adjust the cooking settings from anywhere, as long as you have an internet connection. You can also access hundreds of recipes from the app, and send them directly to the air fryer with a tap, which we found very helpful. The app also lets you schedule cooking times, track your calories, and get tips and tricks for using the air fryer. The smart connectivity makes the Cosori VeSync Pro II Smart Air Fryer a versatile and convenient appliance for any kitchen. One of our team members, Bob, said “It’s like having a brilliant & smart chef in my kitchen”. He praised the air fryer for its ease of use, variety of functions, and delicious results.

Overall, we highly recommend the Cosori VeSync Pro II Smart Air Fryer to anyone who loves fried food but wants a healthier and more convenient way to prepare it. The air fryer is easy to use, versatile, and smart, and it delivers great results every time. It is definitely one of the best air fryers we have ever tested.

As you know, like everything, This  Air Fryer also has some drawbacks, which we have noticed while using it in our kitchen lab, such as the baskets not fitting well in the dishwasher, the app needing more recipes and better instructions, the preheat function being unnecessary at times, and the shake reminder being sometimes annoying and inaccurate. However, these are minor issues that do not affect the overall performance and quality of the air fryer.

Best Large Air Fryer: Philips Premium Air Fryer XXL

This is a well-built, sleek, sturdy & barrel-shaped appliance, made of glossy black plastic, with a digital display and a dial on top. It has a 7-quart basket that can fit up to 3 pounds of food. The air fryer measures 12 x 16 x 12 inches and weighs 19 pounds. The cooking basket is removable and has a mesh bottom that allows excess fat and grease to drip into a separate pan below. The basket, the pan, and the fat-reducing elements are all non-stick and dishwasher-safe.

The air fryer has a digital display with a dial that lets you select the cooking mode, time, and temperature. It has five preset programs for frozen fries, meat, fish, whole chicken, and chicken drumsticks. You can also manually adjust the settings from 105 to 400 F. The display shows small icons for each preset, which can be hard to see. The air fryer also has a keep warm function and a timer that beeps when the food is ready.

We tested the Philips Premium Air Fryer XXL with many types of food. The results of the air frying were as expected. The food had a crisp exterior and a soft interior, with a satisfying crunch. During this process, we followed the recommended settings from the user manual, which provides a detailed table with the suggested cook times and temperatures for different foods and quantities. We also used a digital thermometer to check the doneness of the meat and fish.

We also tried the other cooking modes, such as roasting, baking, and grilling, and the air fryer performed well as a mini oven, as it could roast a whole chicken in about an hour, or bake a cake in about 25 minutes. The grilling mode was also effective as it gave the food a nice char and grill marks. However, we noticed that the air fryer was quite noisy when in operation, and it produced a lot of steam and smoke, so we had to use it under a vent hood or near a window.

Our favourite feature that we love most about this air fryer is Smart Sensing technology. This feature makes cooking your cooking very easy, as it automatically adjusts the temperature and time during the cooking process based on the food type and quantity. You don’t have to worry about setting the right parameters or checking the food continuously. Just select one of the five presets and let the air fryer do the rest. It ensures perfect results every time, no matter what you choose to make. This technology is not only convenient but also smart. It learns from your cooking habits and preferences and optimizes the settings accordingly. The more you use it, the better it gets. You can also save your favourite settings or customize them to your liking. You can also pause the cooking process and resume it when you are ready.

One more unique feature of this air fryer is the Fat Removal technology. According to Philips, it can reduce the fat content of your food by up to 50%. This technology can work by using hot air and a starfish-shaped element at the bottom of the air fryer to create a powerful airflow that melts and extracts the fat from your food. The fat then collects in the pan below the basket, where you can dispose of it. To test this, We measured the amount of fat collected in the pan and compared it to the weight of the food. The air fryer reduced the fat content of the food by an average of 40%. The fat reduction was highest for some foods, like chicken and steak. It means that the air fryer has the potential to decrease the fat ratio of the food, which could have health benefits for the users.

Another feature we liked is the Rapid Air technology, which enables the air fryer to cook food evenly and quickly without preheating. Philips claim that this technology can reduce the cooking time by up to 25% compared to other air fryers.

We also find some drawbacks that we want to share with you. The air fryer was very expensive, costing $349.95 at the time of writing, which was much more than other models on the market. It was also very heavy, weighing 19 pounds, and took up a lot of counter space, making it hard to move or store. It was quite noisy, especially on full power, and sounded like a jet engine, which could be annoying or distracting. It also had a design flaw, with a slide-out tray and a removable basket that could drip and make a mess. The tray had no handle, so we had to pry it open to replace the basket, which was inconvenient and risky. We wished that the air fryer was more affordable, compact, quiet, and user-friendly. According to our senior team member lisa: “The air fryer has potential, but it needs some improvements.”

Overall, the Philips Premium Air Fryer XXL is the best large air fryer ( even for feeding a crowd 😅 ). It is the best choice for anyone who has a large family or frequent guests. Also, it is not for people who have limited counter space or are on a tight budget.

Best Value Air Fryer: Cosori Pro LE 5-Quart Air Fryer

The Cosori Pro LE 5-Quart Air Fryer is a sleek appliance that features a tempered glass display, a nonstick BPA-free basket, and nine customizable functions. It has a capacity of 5 quarts, which can fit enough food for 3-5 people, depending on the dish. It uses rapid air circulation technology to cook food with up to 85% less oil than traditional deep frying. It can reach temperatures up to 450°F, which is higher than most air fryers, and has a timer range of 1-60 minutes, giving you more control and flexibility over your cooking.

It has a very user-friendly interface and intuitive design. The tempered glass display is ergonomically angled toward you, making it easy to see and select the settings. It has nine one-touch cooking functions, including fries, chicken, steak, seafood, bacon, vegetables, bread, desserts, and preheat. You can also adjust the time and temperature manually, or use the shake reminder function to remind you to flip or shake the food halfway through the cooking process. The display also shows the cooking progress and the remaining time, so you can monitor your food without opening the basket.  The basket is detachable and dishwasher-safe, making it convenient to wash and store. The air fryer also comes with a cookbook of 30 original recipes by Cosori chefs and a free VeSync app that has over 100 more recipes to inspire you. You can also access product support, customer service, and chef assistance through the app.

We tested the Cosori Pro LE 5-Quart Air Fryer with Six different types of food: lamb chops, bacon, fish tacos, corn dogs, blooming onion, and frozen Mediterranean vegetables. We followed the instructions and recipes from the Cosori website and the user manual that comes with the air fryer. We also used the preset modes and the touch screen to adjust the time and temperature settings. We measured the oil content, temperature, and cooking time of each batch.

For the lamb chops, we used the steak mode and cooked them for 12 minutes at 400°F. We flipped them halfway through and brushed them with olive oil and rosemary. The lamb chops were juicy and tender, with a nice crust and flavour.

For the bacon, we used the bacon mode and cooked them for 8 minutes at 350°F. We lined the basket with aluminium foil to catch the excess fat and prevent smoking. We did not shake the basket or flip the bacon, as the air fryer was supposed to cook them evenly. However, the bacon turned out overcooked and burnt, with a bitter taste and a hard texture.

For the fish tacos, we used the fish mode and cooked them for 10 minutes at 350°F. We coated the fish with a mixture of flour, cornmeal, and taco seasoning, and sprayed them with some cooking spray. The fish was flaky and crispy, and we served it with some cilantro lime slaw and tortillas.

Overall, We think the air fryer works well with many dishes, as long as they are not too thick or moist.

The  Air Fryer has a lot of features that make it user-friendly and convenient. The most noticeable feature is the tempered glass display that is ergonomically angled toward the user. The display has nine one-touch cooking functions that let you choose from preheat, fries, chicken, steak, seafood, bacon, vegetables, frozen foods, and desserts. You can also adjust the time and temperature manually, and set a shake reminder to flip or toss your food halfway through the cooking process.

When we come to our favourite feature of this air fryer, it is the Air whisper technology. It is a unique feature that allows this air fryer to cook food while producing minimal noise. Unlike some other air fryers that can be noisy and disruptive, the Cosori Pro LE uses a powerful 1500W fan that produces less than 55 dB of sound, which is about as loud as a normal conversation. Moreover, the air whisper technology reduces the emission of harmful substances, such as carbon monoxide and volatile organic compounds, that can pollute indoor air quality. It means you can enjoy crispy and delicious food without disturbing your family or neighbours. This technology not only makes the Cosori Pro LE a quiet and powerful air fryer but also a healthier and eco-friendly one.

Another feature that we liked was the cookbook and online recipes that come with the air fryer. The cookbook has 30 original recipes by Cosori chefs, and the free VeSync app has over 100 more recipes that you can access on your smartphone. The app also allows you to control the air fryer remotely, monitor the cooking progress, and save your favourite settings. The recipes are easy to follow and cover a wide range of cuisines and dishes.

The Cosori Pro LE 5-Quart Air Fryer also has some safety and convenience features that make it a reliable and hassle-free appliance. The air fryer has an automatic shut-off function that prevents overcooking and overheating. The basket is made of nonstick BPA-free material that is easy to clean and dishwasher-safe. The air fryer also comes with a 2-year limited warranty and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

The Cosori Pro LE 5-Quart Air Fryer is priced at $99.99 on the official website and on Amazon, which is a reasonable price for an air fryer of this size and quality. The air fryer also offers free shipping and returns, and a 15% discount if you buy it from the Cosori website with the code COSORI15. The air fryer has received positive reviews from customers and experts and has been rated as the #1 best seller in air fryers on Amazon.

Despite its many advantages, the Cosori Pro LE is not perfect. However, we encountered Some minor issues during our testing. First, The basket is relatively small compared to other air fryers with the same capacity, so you may need to cook in batches or cut the food into smaller pieces to fit. Second, The air fryer can get quite hot during and after use, so you need to be careful when handling it and keep it away from flammable objects or surfaces. Third, The air fryer can produce some smoke or odour when cooking certain foods, especially those with high fat or moisture content, so you may need to use it in a well-ventilated area or under a range hood.

Best Small Air Fryer: Dash Compact Electric Air Fryer

The Dash Compact Electric Air Fryer is a stylish appliance that will fit on any countertop. It comes in four vibrant colours: aqua, black, red, and white. It has a 2-quart capacity, which is perfect for one or two people. It is also half the weight of a standard air fryer, making it easy to move and store. It has a simple design with a dial for temperature control (up to 400°F) and a timer (up to 15 minutes). It also has an auto shut off feature that prevents overcooking and a cool touch handle that makes it easy to use.  The fryer basket is non-stick and dishwasher-safe, making it easy to clean. It comes with a recipe guide for inspiration that includes 15 dishes.  It is made of high-quality materials that are BPA-free and PFOA-free. It has a sturdy and stable base that prevents tipping or sliding. It also has a cool-touch handle and housing that protects your hands from burns.

This air fryer can cook almost all foods. It performed well in terms of cooking speed, crispiness, and flavour. It also reduces the amount of grease and fat in the food, making it healthier and less messy. It was easy to use and operate, with clear instructions and indicators. The air fryer can cook up to 1.2 pounds of food at a time, which is enough for one or two people, but not more. The cooking time and temperature will vary depending on the type and amount of food, but generally, it takes less time than a conventional oven.

We tried different foods with this Air Fryer, such as the onion rings, mozzarella sticks and chimichanga. The results were satisfactory, as the food came out juicy bite. The air fryer also reduced the amount of oil and fat in the food, making it healthier than deep-frying. We followed the instructions and preheated the air fryer for three minutes before adding the food. We also shook the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure fast browning. It did not produce any unpleasant smells or smoke during cooking. We noticed that the basket is bit small for some foods, such as large chicken pieces or whole potatoes. However, this is a minor issue that can be solved by cutting the food into smaller pieces or cooking in batches.

This air fryer has not only one but three features that we liked most and found very helpful for users. First, it has a power/heat indicator light that shows when the air fryer is on and ready to cook. This way, you don’t have to guess or touch the appliance to check if it is hot enough. Second, it has an automatic shut-off feature that prevents overcooking or burning of the food. The air fryer will turn off itself, when the timer is up or the basket is detached. This feature can save you time and energy and also reduces the risk of fire or accidents. Third, we also like the ready alarm that beeps when the food is done. This feature is very helpful, especially when you are busy or distracted with other tasks. You don’t have to keep an eye on the air fryer or worry about missing the timer. The ready alarm lets you know when your food is ready. These features make this air fryer one of our favourite kitchen appliances.

While we appreciate the budget-friendly price tag, we have to admit that it has some limitations. One of them is the small 2-quart capacity, which means it can only cook small portions of food at a time. It cannot fit a whole chicken or a large batch of fries, which may be inconvenient for families or large gatherings. Another drawback is that it has no presets or functions, which means you have to manually set the temperature and time for each recipe. It also does not have any smart features, such as Wi-Fi connectivity or voice control, that some other air fryers offer. We also found that It may take longer to cook some foods, and the results may not be as fast or moist as desired. It especially struggles with making scratch French fries, which come out soggy and dry. Lastly, we noticed that the Dash Compact Air Fryer has a hot exterior when in use, which can pose a burn hazard if touched. It also does not have a window or a light to check on the food without opening the basket, which can release heat and affect the cooking process.

Overall, we think the Dash Compact Electric Air Fryer is a good value for money, and we recommend it to anyone who is looking for a simple and effective air fryer. It is also affordable and durable, and it comes with a one-year warranty. However, it is not for those who need a large capacity, preset functions, or superior performance.

Best Compact Air Fryer: CHEFMAN Toast-Air Touch Air Fryer Toaster Oven Combo

This Air fryer has a sleek and modern design, with a stainless steel finish and a large touchscreen panel. It has a spacious 21-quart capacity, which can fit up to a stack of 10 pancakes, a medium-sized steak, or a bowl of spaghetti. It has 9 preset cooking functions. It also has a dual-speed convection fan, which reduces cooking time. It comes with a baking rack, an air fry basket, two dehydrating racks, and a broiling pan ( all are dishwasher-safe ). It also comes with a one-year warranty and a recipe book.

The touch screen panel has nine one-touch presets for different cooking functions: air fry, convection bake, broil, bake, toast, bagel, slow cook, warm, and dehydrate. The touchscreen panel also has temperature and time control, a shade selector, and a light switch. The panel displays the cooking status and the remaining time. The touchscreen panel is responsive, with clear icons and settings. It also gives the air fryer a premium look and feel. It has a cool-touch handle on the side, which allows you to comfortably grip the pan without burning your fingers. You can adjust the temperature from 95°F to 450°F and the time from 1 minute to 24 hours. This Air fryer also preserves the moisture and flavour of your food with its precise temperature control and timer.

We were curious to see how this Air fryer would handle some of our favourite dishes. We decided to make grilled cheese sandwiches, churros with chocolate sauce, and chicken sandwiches. We followed the instructions from the air fryer manual and set the time and temperature for each dish. We were happy to see that the basket had a large capacity that fit all the food easily. It took about 15 minutes to cook each dish, and the air fryer beeped when the food was ready. The grilled cheese sandwiches were brown and melted, the churros were soft and airy, and the chicken sandwiches were cooked and moist. The food had a crisp layer and a wet texture. However, we also noticed that the food lacked some flavour and seasoning, and we wished the air fryer had more options to customize the taste and aroma. We also found the touchscreen panel a bit hard to use, and we had to press firmly to select the settings. We enjoyed the food, but we felt that the air fryer could be improved in some aspects.

This amazing Air fryer has a unique feature that sets it apart from other best air fryers, which is the phase cooking function. This function lets you program two cooking presets to automatically follow one another, so you can cook one meal using two different methods. For example, you can air fry some chicken wings for 15 minutes and then switch to broil for another 5 minutes to get that extra crispiness. This is great for creating complex dishes with minimal effort. The phase cooking function saves you time and hassle, as you don’t have to manually change the settings or monitor the cooking process. You can just set it and forget it, and enjoy your food when it’s done. The feature is truly a game-changer for your kitchen.

Another feature that we liked is the light switch, which allows you to see the food inside the oven without opening the door. This is useful for checking the doneness of your food, as well as preventing heat loss. The light switch is located on the touchscreen panel, and you can turn it on or off anytime during the cooking cycle.

One more feature  that makes this Air fryer stand out from the crowd is The dual-speed convection fan. The fan circulates hot air around the food. You can choose between two fan speeds: regular and super. The regular speed is suitable for most foods, such as fries, nuggets, and pizza. The super speed is ideal for foods that need more browning, such as chicken, steak, and fish. The dual-speed convection fan also reduces the cooking time by up to 30%, compared to conventional ovens. This means you can enjoy your food faster. The fan is also quiet and does not produce much noise.

However, it also has some drawbacks that might make you think twice before buying it. One of the main complaints from users is that the toasting cycles are very slow, resulting in burnt or undercooked bread. Another issue is that the controls are not very intuitive and require reading the manual to understand how to use them. Moreover, the six-slice capacity is only accurate for very small slices of bread, so if you have larger bread or bagels, you might have to cut them or toast them in batches. Therefore, if you are looking for an air fryer toaster oven that can do more than just frying, this might be a good option for you. But if you are mainly interested in toasting bread or bagels, you might want to consider a different model.

Overall, this Air Fryer may be a good choice for those who value a powerful countertop appliance, but not for those who prefer simple and intuitive controls or more flavor options for their food.

The Air fryer also has a power indicator light and an audible signal that tells you when the cooking is done. The basket has a perforated design that allows the hot air to reach all sides of the food and a handle that makes it easy to shake and toss the food during cooking.

To test the performance and results of this Air fryer, we tried different foods and recipes for each cooking function. Here are some of the highlights of our testing:

We tried the air fry function of this oven with different types of food, such as tofu, hamburgers and meatballs. The results were satisfactory ( as expected ). We also liked how this air fryer preserved the natural taste and nutrients of the food, making it healthier. However, one problem we noticed was that some foods tended to dry out or shrink more than others, depending on their moisture content and size. This Air fryer requires careful monitoring and adjustment of the cooking time and temperature to avoid overcooking or undercooking the food. We also liked how this air fryer preserved the natural taste and nutrients of the food, making it healthier. We found that the best results were achieved at around 400°F and 20 minutes for most foods, but we also experimented with different settings depending on the type and thickness of the food. The only downside is that the oven gets quite hot and noisy when using the air fry function, so we recommend keeping an eye on it and using oven mitts to handle the basket. We also suggest placing the oven on a heat-resistant surface and away from any flammable object.

Our favourite feature of this appliance is a 60-minute timer. This feature allows you to set the cooking time for any recipe and forget about it. The oven will automatically shut off when the time is up, preventing overcooking or burning. The timer also has a stay-on function for longer baking tasks, such as casseroles or pies. The timer is easy to use, with a clear display and a loud bell that alerts us when the food is ready. This feature gives you more convenience and peace of mind when using the Air fryer.

Another feature we appreciated was the rack’s rails that could hold the baking pan, doubling as a drip tray when using the air fryer basket or cooking food directly on the rack¹. This thoughtful design made cleaning up after cooking very easy.

This air fryer is not flawless, even though it has many features. There are some disadvantages that you should be aware of. One of them is that the exterior becomes very hot when in use, which can be dangerous or damage the surface it is on. Another is that the power cord is too short, which restricts where you can put it and sometimes needs an extra cord. A third drawback is that the oven has a single rack that can only go in one spot, which limits how much and what you can cook. A fourth drawback is that it lacks an interior light, which makes it hard to check on the food without opening the door. A fifth drawback is that the oven is difficult to clean, especially if there are drippings that have burnt on and do not come off easily with washing.

Overall, this air fryer may be a good choice for those who are looking for a basic and budget-friendly option, but not for those who expect high performance or large capacity from their countertop oven.

  • oven rack
  • drip pan
  • skewer rotisserie
  • rotisserie cage
  • rotisserie steak cage

  • two mesh trays

The accessories were easy to insert and remove, and they fit well in the air fryer oven.

We decided to try three different dishes using the GoWISE Air Fryer: chocolate chip cookies, pizza rolls, and green beans. We were interested in checking its quality and if it met our expectations. The first dish we air fry was the chocolate chip cookies, using the oven rack. We air-fried them for about 8 minutes. The cookies came out chewy with melted chocolate chips. They were a hit with our kids and disappeared in no time. However, they were a bit hard, and we had to dip them in milk to soften them. The second dish we made was the pizza rolls, using the shallow mesh basket. The pizza rolls are cooked cheesy, with a hot and saucy filling. They were also a bit oily, and we blotted them with a paper towel to remove some oil. The third dish we made was the green beans, using the skewer rotisserie and the rotisserie function. We then set them on the skewers, leaving some space between them. It took about 15 minutes for the green beans to cook. The oven beeped when the green beans were ready, and we used the rotisserie tong to take them out. The green beans looked delicious, with a charred skin. Overall, it retained the natural flavours and nutrients of the food. But the problem that makes us is that it had a strong plastic smell when we first used it, which affected the taste of the food.

One of the features that we loved the most about this air fryer is the rotisserie function. This feature allows you to cook roasts, tenderloins and even racks of kababs with a rotating spit and a heating element. We also enjoyed using the rotisserie cage to make fries, nuggets, and other snacks.

The dehydrate function was another feature that we appreciated. This function can enable you to remove moisture from fruits, vegetables, meats, and herbs, preserving their nutrients and flavour. You can easily make dried fruits, jerky, chips, and spices. The dehydrate function also had a wide range of time and temperature settings, from 2 to 24 hours and from 95°F to 165°F

The air fryer oven also comes with a one-year warranty and free lifetime support from GoWISE USA, which shows their confidence and commitment to their product. You can also get more value from the air fryer oven by following their recipes, tips, and tricks, and joining their online community.

This air fryer has some drawbacks that may affect its overall reputation. For example, it is heavy, which makes it a problem to move around or store in small spaces. It also has a short power cord, which means you may need an extension cord or a nearby outlet to plug it in. Another issue is that if you use multiple trays or racks at once, the air fryer may make the cooking process slower. Also, it has a low minimum temperature of 120°F, which is too high for some food dehydration tasks, such as drying herbs and seeds. It has a dim interior light, which makes it hard to see the food without opening the door. Also, it may create some smoke or smell when cooking greasy or fatty foods, which may need extra ventilation or cleaning. These drawbacks may not matter for everyone or every situation, but they are essential to consider before buying.

Overall, this air Fryer is best for large families, barbecue lovers, and versatile cooks, but not for those who have limited counter space or need a quiet appliance.

Best Air Fryer with Pressure Cooker: Ninja Foodi 9-in 1Air Fryer

The Ninja Foodi Air fryer has nine different functions that allow you to pressure cook, steam, slow cook, yogurt, sear/sauté, air crisp, grill, bake/roast, and dehydrate. You can easily switch between the functions by using the intuitive control panel and the two lids: the pressure lid for pressure cooking and steaming, and the crisping lid for air frying and grilling. The crisping lid is hinged and stays attached to the unit, so you don’t have to worry about finding a place to store it or losing it.

This air fryer comes with a 6-litre non-stick cooking pot, a reversible rack, and a Cook & Crisp basket with a detachable diffuser. The cooking pot is large enough to fit a 4-lb chicken or a 6-lb roast, and the basket can hold up to 2 lbs of fries. The rack can be used in two positions: low for steaming and pressure cooking, and high for grilling and baking. The diffuser helps to distribute the hot air evenly and reduce splatter when air frying. All the accessories are dishwasher safe and easy to clean.

We have prepared many recipes with the Ninja Foodi Air Fryer, including cakes, casseroles, and soups & stews. We enjoy the crispy texture and rich flavor of the food, as well as the easy cleanup and storage of the appliance. It also comes with a recipe book and a cooking chart that provides guidance on cook times and settings for different foods

We like this whole air fryer, but there are some features that we enjoy the most & they really impress us more than others. One of our favourite features of this air fryer is the Tender Crisp technology, which lets us pressure cook food to lock in moisture and then finish it with a crisp using the crisping lid. This way, you can achieve juicy results with a crispy and golden cover without using multiple pots and pans. We have tested this with chicken, ribs, roast and even frozen meat, & got superb results every time. We also appreciate the keep warm function, which keeps the food at the optimal temperature until we are ready to serve.

However, During the recipe-making process in our kitchen lab, we found Some drawbacks of this air fryer. First, It is not very good at air frying delicate foods, such as eggs or cheese, as the minimum temperature for air frying is 300 degrees. Secondly, It can make noise and produce steam when using the crisping lid, especially when air frying or grilling. Also, It is heavy, so it takes up a lot of space to fit on your kitchen counter and may not fit in small spaces or under low cabinets. But still, these minor issues are negligible when compared to the benefits that this air fryer offers.

Overall, We would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a efficient appliance that can do it all. It is a great investment that can save you time, money, and hassle in the kitchen.
